What makes a sliding door feel genuinely slimline?
The central meeting profile is important, but so are the perimeter frame, tracks and how much of them can be concealed within the building.
Can the threshold be flush?
Often, yes. It must be designed with internal and external levels, drainage and exposure rather than treated as a cosmetic extra.
Would a slider be better than a bi-fold?
A slider usually gives the cleaner closed view; a bi-fold can provide the wider clear opening. PM Windows will compare both priorities with you.
