Before you choose a slimline slider.
What does the 20mm measurement refer to?
It is the visible central meeting line where two closed sliding panels overlap. It is the part of the frame most directly in your line of sight.
Can the threshold be completely flush?
A flush approach may be possible, but it needs to be designed with the internal and external floor levels, exposure and drainage. PM Windows will review this during survey rather than promise a one-size-fits-all detail.
Will very large panels still be easy to move?
The system uses rollers designed for large glazed panels. Final panel size and glass weight are checked as part of the specification so the chosen arrangement remains practical for everyday use.
Can these doors meet at an open corner?
Yes, a post-free glazed corner can be possible. It needs early coordination with the building structure, so it is best discussed before structural openings are finalised.
Is this always better than a bi-fold door?
No. A slider gives a cleaner view when closed, while a bi-fold can open a larger proportion of the aperture. We will show you both routes based on whether your priority is the view, the clear opening or a balance of both.
